The hazelnut is the fruit of the hazel plant (Corylus avellana) which flourishes in the Mediterranean thanks to its favourable climate. The most precious variety of the hazelnut is the Tonda Gentile Trilobata. It is cultivated on the picturesque slopes of the Langhe mountain, and it also goes by the name “Nocciola del Piemonte”, “the Piedmont hazelnut”.
The quality is that which we emphasized in this ice cream, although we are sure that no one can resist its the taste. From the best variety of hazelnut, which has a very crispy pulp, we made a cream with a perfect texture, and then we complemented it with our very best ingredients. This is how we got a beautiful and delicate taste which cannot go unnoticed on the shelves.
Besides, the land on which this hazelnut is grown was in 2014 added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
